Hello and thanks for visiting my website. My name is Mark Harrison, and I have been playing the Bagpipes since the tender age of 6. 

 

I began to play in the Beeston and District Pipe Band at 16 and stayed with them until 2006. I moved to The Nottinghamshire Police Pipe Band which has recently become Nottinghamshire Pipes and Drums. We are an actively competing band. My music has taken me to many places, competing in Europe, playing charity events in the USA in the wake of the 9/11 atrocities as well as lots of work closer to home at private events, Remembrance Day Parades and Burns Night Suppers. 

 

As a professional solo and band player, I am available for private bookings at weddings, funerals, parties, private functions, anniversaries and birthdays. I aim to create valuable and special memories.

 

I play at the prestigious Morley Hayes New Years Eve event in Derbyshire every year and always look forward to this.

When I am not piping, I am am a Funeral Service Professional for a large firm of Funeral Directors and a busy Dad and Husband.

 

My music is my passion. I love the Bagpipes and the emotions that they evoke.
